History

The Palác Adria is an important architectural landmark. It was built in 1923-1924 for the insurance company Riunione Adriatica di Sicurta. The architects Pavel Janík and Josef Zasch used the rondo-cubist style for the facade and when working on the front of the building they were inspired by the tower and battlement motifs of the renaissance palaces of the lords of Central Italy.
